This is an RP journal.

Lisa is a 19-year-old (okay, fine, her age is never specifically stated, but we're just going to go with 19, okay?) mental patient from the book/movie Girl, Interrupted (shameless pimpage; see what I did thar?). Almost everything here is taken from the movieverse- be it her looks (she’s brown-haired in the book, and blonde in the movie) down to her last name (which isn’t specified in the book). The events and personality traits that I’ll allude to/portray will be (with a few fairly minor exceptions) from the film as well.

Personality-wise, Lisa’s all over the place- wildly unpredictable and chaotic, extremely hyperactive (though more like a stereotypical “crazy person” than a little kid who’s been free-basing on Pixie Stix), and very sexually promiscuous. Basically, she takes her diagnosis of insanity and runs with it, using it as an excuse to pull all sorts of shit.

She tends to glom onto those who she sees as particularly weak or quiet, though not necessarily for malicious purposes (don’t put it past her, though)- basically, she likes to be in charge and have control over others, and meek, mousey people are much more likely to let her do that. At one point in her canon, she does become extremely angry and upset when she discovers that a friend of hers committed suicide, which indicates that she is capable of feeling at least some level of affection for others. However, despite this, Lisa is far from harmless. She has shown the potential to be very dangerous- at one point she verbally abuses a (psychologically unstable) girl she doesn’t like to the point of driving her to suicide, and then goes on to steal money and jewelry from her body. Towards the end of the film, she also chases the main character with a hypodermic needle (what, if anything, is inside of it is not revealed, and so it’s never really known whether her intention was simply to scare her, or if she had something worse in mind).

In the film it’s stated that she has a diagnosis of sociopathy, and while this is clearly evident, she doesn’t seem to have a particularly bad case of it, all things considered- she's a far cry from being a serial killer. She’s fairly self-aware (though, most of the time, she just doesn’t care how her actions affect others), and other than the two major incidents of extreme cruelty described above, and various other relatively minor occurances, she tends to be pretty apathetic when it comes to dealing with other people. She has even been known to show other small amounts of kindness, even when it comes as no real benefit to her. (However, self-sacrifice? In your dreams.)

She also has an particular affinity for cats, and for giving people nicknames- especially if she likes you (still, it might not exactly be flattering). If she doesn't like you, though, she might give you one just to annoy you.

Oh, and be warned- she swears a lot. Like, a lot.
